It’s our second year in a row at CultureTECH<\/a>, the week-long messy celebration of creative innovation which runs in Derry from September 15 to 21. We had a fantastic time at the festival\u00a0last year<\/a> \u2013 and we\u2019ve also enjoyed ourselves enormously on\u00a0visits to the Maiden City with\u00a0Other Voices<\/a>\u00a0in ‘13\u00a0<\/a>and\u00a0\u201914<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 so it was an easy decision\u00a0to say yes when we got the call from Mark Nagurski to come to the northwest again.<\/p>\n Our line-up for the\u00a0Banter Big Kahunas<\/a>\u00a0evening is as follows:<\/p>\n Jamie Byng<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 publisher and managing director of\u00a0Canongate<\/a><\/p>\n John Leland<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 New York Times journalist and author of\u00a0Hip: The History<\/a><\/p>\n Steve Carson<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Head of BBC Northern Ireland Productions and formerly Chief Editorial Advisor and Director, Factual Group at RT\u00c9<\/p>\n Hannah Donovan<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 Co-founder and design Director at\u00a0This Is My Jam<\/a>\u00a0and previously Head of Creative for\u00a0Last.fm<\/a><\/p>\n The event will take place at the historic\u00a0St Augustine\u2019s<\/a>, Palace Street, Derry on Culture Night, Friday September 19 from 7pm. Admission is free, but advance booking is required and can be done\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>\n
