Over the last couple of years at\u00a0Banter<\/a>, we\u2019ve returned again and again to a few different themes. One of these regular threads has to do with the past, present and future of Dublin club culture and we\u2019ve had a couple of lively nights out already as we\u2019ve discussed and disected this one.<\/p>\n To co-incide with a screening of the\u00a0Paris Is Burning<\/a>\u00a0documentary next month, we\u2019ll be talking to a couple of scene observers about the changing nature of Dublin\u2019s gay clubland over the last couple of decades and what might come next.\u00a0Tonie Walsh<\/a>,\u00a0Will St Leger<\/a>,\u00a0Conor Behan<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Mimi Rouge<\/a>\u00a0will join us for a journey from\u00a0Flikkers, Sides\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Shaft<\/strong>\u00a0to\u00a0Powerbubble<\/strong>,\u00a0Horny Organ Tribe<\/strong>,\u00a0Gag<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Ham<\/strong>\u00a0and onto\u00a0Mother\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0The George<\/strong>\u00a0with a few diversions along the way.<\/p>\n Apart from the Banter discussion and the screening, there will also be a 1970s and 1980s New York City themed party afterwards\u00a0with\u00a0Billy Scurry<\/a>,\u00a0Kelly-Anne Byrne<\/a>,\u00a0Louis Scully<\/a>,\u00a0Greg & Russell<\/strong>\u00a0and friends spunning the lushest disco records all night long.
