A trip to Make A Move has become one of Banter\u2019s favourite summer trips. Over the last few years, we\u2019ve put on a range of talks and interviews at Limerick\u2019s hip-hop and community arts festival including\u00a0a 2012 discussion on the state of Irish hip-hop<\/a>,\u00a0a 2014 pow-wow<\/a>\u00a0on the challenges around Limerick\u2019s year in the spotlight as City of Culture and\u00a0a superb aul\u2019 chat with Kevin Barry<\/a>\u00a0last year (podcast\u00a0here<\/a>).<\/p>\n This year, we\u2019re back in situ at the Shannow Rowing Club on Friday evening (July 1) for what we\u2019re calling a music makers\u2019 reality check \u2013 a series of insights and outsights from those deep in the game for those who want to get in the game but who don\u2019t want to lose their heads. Our wise heads are\u00a0John Lillis<\/a>\u00a0(Rusangano Family<\/a>),\u00a0Ciar\u00e1n Ryan<\/a>(Out On a Limb Records<\/a>, radio documentary maker) and\u00a0Nessa McGann<\/a>\u00a0(programme controller,\u00a0Spin South West<\/a>).
