It\u2019s the first time that we\u2019ve put on a\u00a0Banter<\/a>\u00a0event in Dublin as part of\u00a0Culture Night<\/a>\u00a0and it\u2019s all thanks to the good folks at\u00a0RT\u00c9 Radio One<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme<\/a>\u00a0who\u2019ve invited us along to take part in their event at Dublin Castle.<\/p>\n

Presented by RT\u00c9 in partnership with the\u00a0Ireland 2016 Centenary Programme<\/a>,\u00a0Dublin City Council<\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Office of Public Works<\/a>, the\u00a0Culture Night with RT\u00c9<\/a>\u00a0programme will see Dublin Castle transformed for one night only with live music, theatre and spoken word events throuhgout its historic rooms and outdoor spaces.<\/p>\n

In the case of Banter, we\u2019ll be hosting a discussion in the Conference Centre at 8.10pm on what an Irish revolution would look like in 2016 with\u00a0Una Mullally<\/a>\u00a0(The Irish Times),\u00a0Lois Kapila<\/a>\u00a0(co-founder and managing editor\u00a0Dublin Inquirer<\/a>),\u00a0Blindboy Boatclub<\/a>\u00a0(The Rubberbandits<\/a>) and\u00a0Dr John Gibney<\/a>\u00a0(TCD School of History author, historian and Glasnevin Trust Assistant Professor in Public History and Cultural Heritage).
